CONCEPT STUDIES, BASIC AND DETAILED DESIGNS

Stages 5, 10 and 15 m³/s

SETEC participated in all of the stages of the Taiaçupeba WTS project, having performed the following activities:

  • Concept studies, basic and detailed designs;
  • Complete detailed design;
  • Management of the supply of materials and electro-mechanical equipment;
  • Technical support to the works and supervision of the electro-mechanical assemblies;
  • Commissioning, testing of the units, and assisted operations;
  • Expropriations and resettling;
  • Specialized advisory services.

MANAGEMENT AND INSPECTION – Stage 15 m³/s

SETEC headed the management and inspection of the works related to capacity expansion of the Taiaçupeba WTS up to 15 m³/s; construction of the pipelines and the new units for the Alto Tietê production system – SPAT, having integrated the PPP Contract in consortium with PLANSERVI.

  • General coordination, supervision, and inspection of the works;
  • Inspection of compliance to the Hygiene, Medicine, and Labor Safety Norms;
  • Follow-up and auditing of the works’ technological control;
  • Analysis and approval of the projects for acquisition of equipment;
  • Monitoring and supervision for obtaining Environmental and Administrative Licenses related to the execution of the works;
  • Planning and controlling the implementation of the undertaking;
  • Partial inspection of the materials and equipment to be applied in the works;
  • Specialized consulting and technical assistance.

PILOT WTS

When elaborating the Detailed Design for capacity expansion of the WTS, from 5 to 10 m³/s, SETEC prepared a study, including the conception, hydraulic dimensioning, detailed design, and supply of materials and electro-mechanical equipment, for a Water Treatment Station in reduced scale – Pilot WTS, with a flow of 20l/min. The object was to simulate and conduct experiments aimed towards the development of advanced technologies for water treatment, including start-up testing, up to operational support for commencement of operations.
