SANITARY WASTEWATER SYSTEM | ITAPECERICA DA SERRA

ELABORATION OF DETAILED DESIGN AND ENVIRONMENTAL REPORTS FOR A SANITARY WASTEWATER SYSTEM | MUNICIPALITY OF ITAPECERICA DA SERRA

Sabesp – Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo
Dec 2016 to May 2018

The project refers to the collection and disposal of remaining wastewater in the municipality of Itapecerica da Serra – SP. Upon completion, it will be integrated with the existing system, thereby promoting the universalization of the municipality’s wastewater disposition. The area is an integral part of the Guarapiranga hydrographic basin and consequently pertains to the upper Tietê basin.

The entire territory is inserted in the protection and recovery area of the Guarapiranga Hydrographic Basin’s water sources (APRM-G).

The collection networks and the backbone collections were designed to last up to a horizon of 30 years, while the pumping stations are foreseen for 20 years (2018 – 2028).

101 km Collection Network

7 km Backbone Collectors

8,4 km Emissaries

8 Wastewater Pumping Stations

(Outflow 10 to 73 l/s)

Up to 60,694 inhabitants

in 2048

DETAILED DESIGN

  • Studies on population, demand projections, and calculation of the wastewater contributions;
  • Study of the possible alternatives and proposition of the best solution: technical/ economic/ operational/ legal-institutional;
  • Topographic services and geological/geotechnical investigations;
  • Detailed designs of the collection networks, backbone collectors, and crossovers on bodies of water and highways;
  • Designs: hydro-mechanical; structural and foundations; electric, electro-mechanical and automation; architecture and landscaping;
  • geotechnical, traffic signaling, and hydraulic transients;
  • Elaboration of the necessary documentation for acquiring the areas for the pumping stations (real-estate regularization).

ENVIRONMENTAL REPORTS

Environmental studies as needed for:

  • Obtaining licenses (prior and installation) from CETESB;
  • Obtaining authorizations for interventions in an area of permanent preservation (APP) and for exclusion of vegetation (CETESB –
  • Green Agenda);
  • Requesting the declaration on Implementation Feasibility (DVI);
  • Granting of a Right of Usage (aerial crossover) and registering the crossovers of waterways (DAEE);
  • Permission to use and occupy the land and obtain the environmental consent (Municipal Government);
  • Technical package for assessment by the archaeological organism (IPHAN)
