The Parangaba/Mucuripe Branch will integrate Lines South and East, and indirectly with Line West, crossing 22 neighborhoods and attending a demand of 90 thousand passengers per day. This is a Light Rail Vehicle (LRV) Line for transporting passengers, having 13 km extension on dual carriageway, of which 1.5 km is elevated. Also included are 10 stations.

ADVANCED BASIC DESIGN AND DETAILED DESIGN

  • Preliminary services;
  • Design of the Infra and Superstructure of the permanent trackway, for the stretch between the Parangaba and Iate Stations (13 kilometers), including attenuating devices against noise and vibration levels on the elevated stretch;
  • Special Engineering structures (5 Metro viaducts, and 5 underground highway crossings);
  • Complete design of the civil works and the architecture for 10 stations, all following the same typology excepting the Parangaba Station (elevated, and integrating with Line South) and the Papicu Station (integrating with Line East and the Papicu Urban Bus Terminal);
  • Environmental studies involving: Basic studies; Environment Impact Studies – EIA; Environment Impact Reports – RIMA; Programs, Plans and Designs for following-up and monitoring the Impacts – PBA (environmental basic plans); and Technical Advisory for obtaining environmental control licenses;
  • BID documentation package.

MANAGEMENT, SUPERVISION, AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Management

Coordination of the planning and control; administrative-financial follow-up; follow-up of the measures for implementing institutional reinforcement, as well as environmental mitigating measures; interface between the design and the works; technical support.

Supervision

Civil works; supervision, inspection, technologic control, advisory, and technical assistance to the works “as built”.
