Works related to the duplication of the Adib Chammas Viaduct, are an integral part of the Sustainable Urban Mobility Program of the Municipality of Santo André (Programa de Mobilidade Urbana Sustentável do Município de Santo André) which is being managed by SETEC/ENGECORPS. The duplication of the viaduct will have an overall extension of 172.00m and a width of 9.80m; it will overpass the Avenida dos Estados and the Tamanduateí River. The viaduct’s superstructure is comprised of three spans, where the spans of the two extremities are made of reinforced concrete, and the central span of 70.00m will be molded in place by means of a Continuous Advancement method (balanço sucessivo).
